Prepare your favorite dishes like enchiladas, tacos dorados or tacos with these delicious white corn tortillas. You can also fry them to prepare chilaquiles for breakfast. Xatzé tortillas are made in the city of Guadalajara in Mexico. The package contains about 20 tortillas, they are gluten-free and should be eaten within 4 to 5 days after opening the package. They can also be frozen for a longer shelf life. For heating, it is recommended to soak them a little before placing them on the skillet or charcoal grill. Recipe

1. place the tortillas in a hot pan, heat them for 5-10 seconds per tortilla per side and flip them 2-4 times.

2. they are ready for you to eat when they become soft and flexible or puff up slightly.

3. place the tortillas in a folded clean towel/cloth or closed container to keep them warm.

4.During your meal, take out the tortillas one by one and top with your meat/meat substitute, veggies and pour salsa/sauce or other ingredients. Enjoy your meal!

Tips

Trocken lagern an einem kühlen Ort aufbewahren. Nach dem Öffnen im Kühlschrank lagern. Kann für längere Haltbarkeit eingefroren werden.

Diese Xatzé Tortillas werden trocken gelagert, sie kommen ohne Kühlbeutel im Versand zu Euch, im Gegensatz zu z.B. Masamor Tortillas, die bei uns kühl gelagert werden und in einem Isolier-Beutel mit Ice Packs kommen. Der Grund sind die verwendeten Konservierungsmethoden der Xatzé Tortillas.
