This is an authentic Mexican non-GMO corn flour from Maza Real without chemical additives. Ideal for the preparation of light corn tortillas, in Mexico we would speak of white corn tortillas. 100% transgenic free whole corn.
Maza Real flour is made from native corn from the high valleys of the central region of Mexico. Maza Real is a Mexican company dedicated to providing the highest quality products based on traditional methods and excellent raw materials to promote Mexican culture throughout the world through authentic colors and flavors.
Maza Real flour is obtained by grinding corn kernels previously cooked in a solution of water and lime and then dried. In addition, this flour is genetically unmodified and gluten-free. You can use it not only for tortillas but also for dishes such as gorditas, soups, arepas, popusas, corn cakes, atole, empanadas or huaraches.
