Chocolate Mayordomo is a brand that specializes in Mexican cocoa and chocolate. The company produces chocolate bars as well as mole. Unlike many other commercial chocolates, this Mayordomo product contains only four ingredients: Sugar, roasted cocoa beans, cinnamon and soy lecithin.

These ingredients are ground and blended into a paste that is pressed into bars and slices. Due to the undissolved granulated sugar and the rough and grainy texture, the chocolate bars are not meant for you to eat plain like a chocolate bar, although you can theoretically eat Mayordomo bars plain.

However, the pieces are usually used to prepare hot cocoa in traditional Mexican form. The Mayordomo chocolate is prepared on the stove by dissolving the bars in hot milk or water and then stirring and dissolving the cocoa with a molinillo, spoon or whisk.

In Mexico, in the traditional Aztec and Mayan form, chili peppers are added to both sweet and savory dishes.
