Tinga de Pollo is probably the best-known Mexican taco meat preparation in the chicken segment, with Chipotle chilli and other spices. This preparation is also very popular on tostadas (deep-fried or baked tortillas). You can also prepare Tinga de Pollo yourself, but this mixture will shorten the time immensely if you want to prepare the meal quickly. The mix is heated up in the pan in just a few minutes and serves as a juicy topping for your tostadas or tacos. You can also place the bag without the cardboard in the microwave for 40 seconds to warm it up. The marinated preparation keeps the meat edible for a long time and does not need to be cooled or only after you have opened the bag.

Serving recommendation: Take the following recommendation to heart: combine vegetables such as salad leaves, crème fraîche and shepherd's cheese as a side dish and serve with, for example, the Tostadas from our store, as well as a few salsas and your Mexican taco evening can begin.

Recipe

Only heat in a pan over a medium heat for approx. 8-12 minutes, do not allow the heat to dry them out too much.

Can also be heated in the closed bag in the microwave for approx. 40 seconds at high power. Leave to cool for 1 minute.

At the same time, heat the tortillas - we recommend masamor tortillas - in a second pan (leave in for approx. 2-3 minutes).

Keep the meat warm, wrap the tortillas in a towel or tortilla warmer and gradually spread over the tortillas. Serve with - typically Mexican - iceberg lettuce, crème fraiche, shepherd's cheese and various salsas / sauces from our store.
