Chilled vegetarian tamales with panela and Oaxaca queso (cheese) – not vegan due to the milk in the cheese – in a generous 540g package that introduces you to traditional Mexican cuisine in a creamy, slightly spicy way. Tamales describe a dish that in this case consists of masa (corn dough), two typical Mexican cheeses, strips and pieces of the popular jalapeño chili, and other spices with vegetables.

These delicious corn packets are delivered to you chilled (no shipping on Fridays) completely free of preservatives, i.e. as natural as possible, and can then be heated over a longer period of time, e.g. in a pan at medium temperature. The tamales can also be heated in the microwave in 2-3 minutes and then eaten.

These tamales are already a ready-made meal.

Tips

Remove plastic packaging.

Heat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes at 800W. Caution: the contents may be very hot, so take care when removing from the microwave. Unwrap the corn cakes from the corn husks. Do not eat the corn husks.

Can be frozen for long periods. Allow to thaw before consumption.

Can also be heated in a pan over medium heat, turning several times, for approx. 10-15 minutes.

Consume as soon as possible after thawing.
