A clear tequila blanco from Don Julio. Since the distillery was founded in 1942, Don Julio Gonzales, the founder of the distillery, has demonstrated his tireless skill through the outstanding taste of his tequila. His constant search for refinement is reflected in every drop of his fine spirits.

In 2014, this tequila was awarded 93 points as "Best Tequila" at the Falstaff Spirits Gala, which is an authentic testament to the art of producing an excellent tasting, mature Mexican tequila. The tequila is made from 100% blue agave, which grows in the highlands of Los Altos de Jalisco in Mexico.

When tasted, the tequila is clear in color. The nose reveals notes of citrus fruits and crispy agave. The taste reveals a subtle sweetness, accompanied by an intense agave aroma and a hint of pepper and grass. The finish is long-lasting, which underlines the quality and depth of this tequila.

Recipe

Recipe for a Don Julio Blanco PALOMA PALETAS cocktail:

- 1.5 parts Don Julio Blanco Tequila
- 4 parts grapefruit soda
- 0.5 parts fresh lime juice
- 1 large slice of grapefruit

Garnish:
A few pink or red peppercorns

Preparation
1. pour Don Julio Blanco, grapefruit soda, fresh lime juice and 1 large slice of grapefruit into a container and stir gently.
