Discover the Deadhead Rum 6 years matured from Veracruz, a city with a long tradition of rum production. The bottle is unusually shaped like a shrunken head and is suitable for collectors. For indigenous Mexicans, these are intended to reflect the spirit of "Día de Los Muertos", the Day of the Dead, combined with the myths of Caribbean Vodoo.
This rum is distilled in copper stills and column stills and reaches an alcohol content of 40%. It is matured for 6 years in American oak barrels and Chiapas oak barrels for an unmistakable taste.
There are also rum specialties from Deadhead that have other unusual bottle shapes.
Deadhead rum is amber in color. The taste is full-bodied and rich with notes of apples, pears, mint, a hint of chocolate, coffee, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long-lasting.
