A large 500g package of baking mix to quickly prepare typical Mexican churros. Simply pour the contents with boiling water, stir in, fry and enjoy. Tres Estrellas has perfected the sweet flour mixture. You can enjoy your churros just like that, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, but they can also be combined with apple or plum sauce or chocolate sauce. It is also recommended to enjoy churros with cajeta, which comes from Mexico. Cajeta is available here in the store in usually three variants. How to prepare

1. Boil 2 1/4 cups of water (540ml), when it comes to a boil (big bubble) turn off the heat.

2. Pour the water to the flour and integrate with a wooden spoon in an enveloping way for 20 seconds. The dough is lumpy and open (not smooth or elastic).

3. Heat enough oil in a frying pan to a depth of 3 cm. Check that the oil is hot enough by adding a pinch of the batter.

4. Place the tip (duya) inside the plastic sleeve. Place part of the mixture inside the sleeve, to squeeze it through the duya.

5. Form churros of approx. 10 cm long and place them in the oil, using scissors or a cutter to separate the mixture and form another churro. Fry until golden brown and drain well.

6. Stir them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot and enjoy.


Store in a cool dry place. Re-seal contents airtight when opened and not completely used.
