To produce the high quality Casamigos Tequila, 7-9 year old Blue Weber agaves are used, sourced from the rich clay soils of the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave piñas are roasted for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens, while most others steam their agaves for 7 hours. The unique flavor is the result of an 80-hour fermentation process, compared to the average 48 hours. Even George Clooney has been involved in promoting the Casamigos brand.

A special yeast blend is used, unlike the commercial yeasts, it gives a uniform, delicate aroma. Caramel with hints of cocoa with notes of dried fruit and spicy oak with hints of sweet agave. The aging lasts 7 months in high quality American white oak barrels.

Recipe for a Casamigos SPICY ANANAS-KORIANDER-MARGARITA Cocktail

Ingredients
- 1.5 parts Casamigos Reposado Tequila

- 0,75 parts pineapple juice

- 0.5 parts fresh lime juice

- 0.25 parts Simple Syrup

- 8 - 10 coriander leaves

- 2 Serrano slices or 2 dashes of firewater bitters

- 1⁄2 thick rim with equal parts salt/sugar/dried cilantro

Garnish
- 2 pineapple leaves and a serrano slice

Instructions
Wet 1/2 rim of glass with a lime wheel or slice, then dip into salt mixture.

Add all ingredients to a shaker, then muddle serrano/coriander. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rimmed ice glass.

Add fresh ice and garnish.
