Especially in families, this is an indispensable utensil with which to enjoy tacos or other Mexican dishes that are eaten with tortillas, undisturbed, as you can first warm all the tortillas and then eat up in peace without always running to the pan.
If you made the tortillas yourself, after cooking them on the comal / pan, place them directly in the tortilla warmer / tortillero to keep them warm together. If you bought ready-made tortillas, you can also heat them in the microwave or on the comal and then put them in the tortillero to keep them warm. Mexican households never have a shortage of tortilleros or tortillas, which are eaten almost every day and are part of almost every meal.
