Ron Los Valientes is an award-winning Mexican rum produced by the Villanueva family in Veracruz and bottled in a stylishly slim and tall bottle that fits into elegant interiors and stands by its Caribbean origins. The family has been producing high-quality spirits for three generations. The name "Los Valientes" honors the brave fighters of the Mexican Revolution. The rum is produced in small batches and consists of a mixture of sugar cane juice and molasses, which is distilled in copper stills and column stills.

The spirits mature slowly in antique white oak barrels. The color of the rum is amber. The oak barrel-matured rum from Los Valientes is rich, intense and complex in taste. The 10-year-old version offers notes of plums, oak, caramel and dried tropical fruit. The finish is long-lasting.

Wine & Spirits International awarded a gold medal to this rum as part of the - the Spirits Business - award in 2010.
